Bingo Day Review
Another favourite from the Virtue Fusion (where do they think of these software names') stable, Bucky Bingo adds a double shot of funk to a whole world of excellent bingo. That’s right, funk: our host is a smiling, afro-sporting man in a purple cloak with a cane. “Come on baby get ready,” he sings. “Play that funky bingo”.
But after this short intro, there are no more frills: it’s right on to the information we want, and we’re presented with a timetable of which games are coming up next. The result is actually something both fun and no-nonsense – it’s great to see the games, ticket prices, and prizes right there in front of you pretty much straight away. No need to hunt around at funky, Bucky Bingo, basically.
The website
This is a decent site that’s all about bingo. There are slot games, and a very useful club finder for occasions when you want to play in a real hall, but really it’s a straightforward case of buy your tickets, win your prizes, and let’s not worry about any flash branding or big design distractions.
No need to wait around or download anything
As this is a Virtue Fusion site, everything is flash-based so all of us download-haters can relax. And there’s rarely two minutes that pass without a new game so you won’t ever find yourself waiting impatiently for the next game to start. Even if you did, the chat community here is great so I’m sure you’d find a few friends to exchange tips and gossip with.
Sign up, sign up
The sign-up incentive is simple but no less generous for it: you get a 100% match on your first deposit up to a maximum total of £250. With ticket prices ranging from a penny to 50p, that’s potentially enough free bingo to keep you going for quite some time. If you take advantage of the regular BOGOF deals, make that quite some time, twice.
Prizes and games galore
Any regular bingo player will recognise a site like this, and now what kind of games to expect from it – but alongside all this are some fun chat room competitions, which are an entertaining alternative and also a nice way of getting to know some of your roomies.
Prizewise, there are some amazing progressive jackpots out there, and at the time of writing the Clover Rollover jackpot was just under half a million pounds. Imagine how many funk CDs that would buy you.
Pros
- Generous prizes and sign-up bonus - Easy to find the information you need - Customer service support is always available - They have the funk
Cons
- Not so much in the way of casino games
Overall
An enjoyable site that is surprisingly addictive. Definitely worth dropping in at and who knows, you may stay longer than you'd planned.
